The 2010
Annual Report of the Association was published both in Turkish and English

On 1-3 September 2011, the Association participated to the 13
th Hydra Meeting hosted by the Hellenic Association of Insurance Companies on
the Hydra island in Greece. During the meeting, the Association was represented
by Mr. Erhan Tuncay, Secretary General of the Association and Mr. Mehmet
Kalkavan, Deputy Secretary General of the Association.
During the first day of the meeting, a session was held on the reduction of
capital requirements for small and medium sized enterprises with the help of
reinsurance. On the second day of the meeting, the session on “Implications of
Solvency II on life, health and property insurances” was held. At the insurers
and reinsurers meetings held during the 13 th Hydra Meeting, officials from
insurance companies and related institutions exchanged views on several issues.
